Terms for using RanchBooks.
These terms describe the basic relationship between RanchBooks, LLC and customers using RanchBooks.
The service
RanchBooks provides web-based ranch management tools for operational record keeping, including livestock, land, breeding, equipment, crops, tasks, contacts, invoices, reports and cash-basis accounting features. Features may change as the service is improved.
Your account and users
You are responsible for the accuracy of information entered into your ranch, choosing appropriate user access, protecting account credentials and promptly removing or disabling access that is no longer authorized.
Your data
You retain ownership of the ranch records you provide. You grant RanchBooks, LLC the rights necessary to host, process, back up and present that data solely as needed to provide, secure and support the service and comply with law.
Subscriptions, trials and cancellation
Trial and subscription pricing is shown on the Pricing page and in the RanchBooks billing area. Paid subscriptions are managed through Stripe. If a subscription is scheduled for cancellation, access continues according to the subscription and account status shown in RanchBooks. Download records you need to retain before account closure or the end of any applicable retention period.
Operational tool, not professional advice
RanchBooks is a record-keeping and management tool. Market estimates, bookkeeping reports, reminders and other outputs are informational and do not replace veterinary, tax, legal, accounting, lending or other professional advice.
Availability and backups
RanchBooks uses reasonable efforts to operate and protect the service, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed. Customers should use the built-in export tools to keep independent copies of important ranch records.
Acceptable use
Do not use RanchBooks to break the law, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access to another ranch, distribute malicious code or abuse shared infrastructure.
